    This is a piano scale. Hands one octave apart.   Play 2 octaves similar motion ascending, then two octave’s contrary motion, then two octaves descending in similar motion. I like practising my minor scales in this way.  My other way of practicing piano scales is to start in different places….for example arpeggios in the inversions…

    I love French Baroque music….as a music student I wanted to play contemporary music predominantly by women. I did my MA in music performance to discover the secret code of the French Baroque…because the recorder still is opened holed there are many techniques largely lost to other woodwind instruments.
